We're hiring a Program Assistant to support the Open Streets Minneapolis 2023 event season!
Every summer, Our Streets Minneapolis partners with the City of Minneapolis to host a series of one-day events that close major thoroughfares to car traffic and open them to people. Congested city streets become vibrant, pedestrian-friendly boulevards where people can dream, play, and explore. At each Open Streets Minneapolis event, local businesses, artists, and community groups transform their streets, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and culture of Minneapolis.
About the position
This position is part-time, non-exempt with an expectation of 20 hours a week. The Open Streets Program Assistant will work closely with Our Streets Minneapolis staff on the Open Streets Minneapolis event series by coordinating volunteers, supporting event operations and vendor registration, and assisting with administrative tasks. This position reports to the Events and Programs Manager.
