2017 Candidate Questionnaires

Our Streets MPLS (formerly the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition) is giving all City Council and Mayoral candidates the opportunity to respond to 10 questions surrounding bicycle and pedestrian issues in Minneapolis.  We will add additional questionnaires as we receive them from candidates.

If you are candidate or candidate representative, you can contact us if you have any questions about the questionnaire. Note that Our Streets MPLS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and does not endorse candidates.

Responses to each question must be under 200 words -- if more than 200 were provided, only the first 200 words are published. Here are the responses we've received.

Note that we use “walking” and “pedestrian” as inclusive of people in wheelchairs.

Election Day 2017 is Tuesday, November 7!
