Volunteers Power Our Streets Minneapolis!

The work of Our Streets Minneapolis is possible because of volunteers like you. Here’s how you can make an impact on the future of transportation equity in our city:

Phone Banking

We’re introducing phone banking opportunities for supporters. Making calls helps us reach more people and have authentic conversations with the community. This is a great virtual way to support our work. We phone bank for different projects each week.

Hennepin Ave S Reconstruction

The City of Minneapolis will be reconstructing a portion Hennepin Avenue S. After three years of research and community engagement, public works has released a recommended design for the corridor. We're organizing to get the design approved. We'll be canvassing every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday until the design is approved.

Restore the Whittier Lyndale Bikeway Timeline

We are calling on the City of Minneapolis to complete the Whittier Lyndale Bikeway and restore the 2023 timeline for the 1st Ave S reconstruction. Both projects were previously delayed, meaning that people continue to have no easy route from South Minneapolis to downtown.
