Equitable Vision Zero

On September 20, 2017 the Minneapolis City Council passed a resolution to implement a Vision Zero policy to eliminate fatalities and serious injuries by 2027. Join this work group in support of the movement towards zero deaths while seeking safer streets and advocating for equitable implementation, keeping in mind the historical racial problems with police enforcement of traffic violations as a country and in Minneapolis.

~ The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
~ We meet at the Our Streets office: 1428 Washington Avenue South, Suite 204
~ We talk about Vision Zero advocacy and how to best support the city
~You don't have to bring anything but it is helpful to read our blog about the topic here.

If you are interested in advocating for a racially equitable roll out of the Minneapolis Vision Zero implementation and would like to join our workgroup, sign up here.

If you have any questions, you can send a message to Frances.
