Throw on your suit, hop on your bike and join us on Sunday, August 4 for our next Joy Ride.
The event will begin at Freewheel Midtown Bike Center on the Midtown Greenway at 12:30 p.m. Arrive early to check in, get to know your fellow riders and enter our raffle (lots of goodies to give away!).
The group will leave Freewheel at 1 p.m. and bike around Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriet, and Cedar Lake, with three stops along the way (help your fellow riders stay cool: supersoakers are encouraged!).
Our first stop will be North Beach on Lake Harriet to enjoy some beach games, swimming and good ol’ sunshine. We’ll then continue on to Beard’s Plaisance Park on Lake Harriet for a FREE lunch, provided by Jimmy John's and our good friend Andy, as well as a raffle. We'll then continue to our last stop of the day, Hidden Beach on Cedar Lake.
