Executive Transition Announcement

Our Executive Director, Ethan Fawley, will be departing Our Streets Minneapolis in late August to become the Vision Zero Coordinator for the City of Minneapolis working on transportation safety.

Board President Maria Wardoku shares her thanks to Ethan and enthusiasm for the future.

Ethan has been an amazing leader for our organization from day one, and I'm so appreciative that he is leaving us with capable, talented staff and a strong foundation for all the exciting work to come. We look forward to working with Ethan in his new role guiding our city towards the goal of zero traffic deaths. With people like Ethan in city leadership and strong community support, we can create a city where people feel safe and comfortable walking, biking, and rolling all year round.

Ethan offers his thanks, and is excited to see Our Streets Minneapolis continue to grow.

It has been an absolute honor and pleasure working for Our Streets Minneapolis over the past five years. I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with so many tremendous people who care about improving Minneapolis for everyone. I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished together. Thank you to the staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters who have made this possible.

Our Streets has an amazing team of staff, Board, and volunteer leaders and I’m excited to see them continue the critical work of improving streets for people, hosting Open Streets Minneapolis, and supporting more people biking and walking. I’m happy to be continuing in this work with the City and I look forward to partnering with Our Streets for years to come.

  --Ethan Fawley
