Happy Thanksgiving INDEED!
This was fine and all… but what I would really like seconds on is this 60 degree weather!
What a great day for a ride! We saw more bicycles today, when we were on ours, than there were cars. Nice!
Did you get out on you bicycle today? Do you have any Thanksgiving bicycle traditions? What Bicycle Improvements are you thankful for? I am thankful for my returned crossing at Raymond and University.
If you happen to ride through the Raymond Avenue/University Avenue intersection, it’s looked a lot like this the last few months. All signs of progress, which I welcome, but a bit tricky to navigate on a bicycle. The good news on our ride today was that the work at this intersection is done and you no longer have to navigate through this.
Hoorah!
Advisory Bike Lanes
I’d wondered how these things would work, and when I rode on it for the first time last week, it felt GREAT!
While I know cars are permitted to drive in the bike lanes, I love this picture because it shows that they just don’t. Even when they’re meeting one another.
Aahhhh. Plenty of space for me and my bike.
Thanks for the experiment, Bike Walk Twin Cities and City of Minneapolis!
