Bikeways for Everyone is a collaborative campaign of community partners, businesses and individuals advocating for 30 new miles of protected bikeways by 2020. Efforts by our volunteers and supporters have allowed us to turn in THOUSANDS of signatures in support of protected bikeways, which helped secure $750,000 dollars in the City budget for the construction of five protected bikeways this year.

Bikeways for Everyone monthly get together
The Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition is the organization taking the lead on the Bikeways for Everyone campaign, and hosts a monthly get together where we share updates, and learn about ways we can get closer to our goal of a network of protected bikeways by 2020.

Our goal is to provide everyone with context for the campaign and upcoming projects. We focus getting to know each other, and on updates from volunteers and work group leads. We also talk about campaign strategy to help guide our energy toward getting more protected bikeways in Minneapolis. And what is a get together without snacks?! (There will be snacks.) This get together is open to everyone, and we encourage you to bring friends!
We are accessible by the 3, 22, and 7 bus lines, and within a few blocks walk of both Green and Blue lightrail lines. There is ample bike parking in front of the Town Hall Brewery.
