Minneapolis Bike to Work Day 2017

On Friday, May 19th we’re encouraging folks around Minneapolis to pledge to bike to work and we’re still looking for some volunteers to help us with the day’s events!

The weather is getting warmer, the birds are chirping, and there truly isn’t a better way to start a Friday morning than by avoiding rush hour traffic and cruising through Minneapolis’ many bike paths and bike friendly streets. We hope that Bike to Work Day can inspire lots of folks to utilize their bikes for their everyday transportation. Make sure to stop by a commuter pit stop during your commute and join us in celebrating the day!

Commuter Pit Stops

All over the city we’ll have pit stops set up for folks who are participating in Bike to Work Day. Bike commuters will be greeted with coffee, high-fives, free food, and other giveaways during both the morning and afternoon commute.

Check out our pit stop locations and find one on your route!

Additional Bike Month Volunteer Opportunities

These events aren’t possible without our amazing volunteers! We’ll be celebrating Minneapolis Bike Month for all of May so there will be plenty of other opportunities to volunteer at other upcoming events! It’s a great way to engage with the Minneapolis community.
