What behavior tends to spur bicycle-related citations? Where is it common for people to receive bicycle-related citations? Who tends to get bicycle-related citations?

Volunteers from the Diversity and Equity Committee have been working hard on a project to answer these questions by gathering data on roughly 1,100 citations given to bicyclists and 180 related police reports all from 2009-2014. And now we need YOUR help! Our end goal is to map the citations and code the information found in the police reports for a public report. What this report will say depends on what patterns we discover during this volunteer night. So join us March 17th to sort a bite-sized chunk of data, research census information, and help move this project forward!
